Maryanne McGlynn Leauby
Maryanne was first diagnosed with melanoma in 2001. Nine years later she found swollen lymph nodes that were diagnosed as malignant, and began radiation and chemotherapy treatments in August, 2010. She finally succumbed on December 6, but had continued working as a nurse until early November. Her strength and courage during this ordeal were amazing to all who knew her. She continued living life to fullest until her legs were unable to support her. Maryanne was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), aunt, and friend to many. Always thinking of and doing for others first, her legacy was evident in the number of daily visitors at our home while she rested under Hospice care at home for her final two weeks. She was loved by many and will never be forgotten.
