I felt a sense of love and support among the participants in the walk. At some spots, the venue allowed for one to view the number of participants — which was encouraging and exciting based on the growth of the event! Made me proud to be a participant for several years.
Being with so many people whose lives were dramatically affected by melanoma affords a sense of intense support. The hope that our fundraising efforts will contribute to a cure for late stage melanoma is a powerful motivator to support this cause.
This has become a tradition and people ask every year. I personally fight melanoma so it is important.

It’s great, this is our 3rd year and we enjoy it more every year. What a great way to make friends with so many nice people and hear stories of their experiences.
Don’t ever stop! This is the first time I have ever participated in a cause like this and I feel so good about it as well as my family. This may have saved my sons’ lives due to the free screening that is also part of run.
